Preparing for the Summer

Our research group prepares for the summer, continuing projects in South India, Brazil, Uganda, Senegal, and Indiana.  Andrew Flachs will be working with organic cotton and coffee producers in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, India, to learn how farmers and merchants navigate the demands of these different crops. Cultural Anthropologist Laura Zanotti will be continuing her work with the Kayapo in the Brazilian Amazon. Jennifer Lee Johnson will be returning to the shores of Lake Victoria in Uganda to interview fishworkers. Zoe Nyssa will be completing her book manuscript, tentatively titled "Endangered Logics" in West Lafayette, Indiana..
